Uppermill Band has scored a hat- trick of awards in quick step, march and hymn tune contests.
The band, fresh from winning six prizes in nine contests on Whit Friday in Saddleworth, won the third section prize at the Brighouse contest on Sunday.
It was also placed fifth overall out of 21 bands, many graded much higher.
The band’s other successes have been at Hebden Bridge, when they won third prize overall, beating many higher ranked bands, and Marsden on June 13, when it was second overall.
Band manager John Ward said: “It has been a magnificent effort by all players under musical director Alan Widdop.
“The best consistency of performance has been recognised and well rewarded.
“It was well beyond our expectations.”
