Team colours for Andrew’s funeral

FORMER team mates and coaches of talented Leeds Rhinos player Andrew Curwell will wear their rugby colours at his funeral.
The 18-year-old, from Delph, died on June 18 after plunging 70ft down a cliff in Newquay, Cornwall.
Police believe he may have fallen while searching for his wallet after celebrating the end of his A-level exams with friends.
The former Saddleworth Rangers players joined the Leeds Rhinos academy in 2007 as a second row and had been looking forward to going to university.
His funeral will be held at 1.30pm on July 16 at the chapel at Rishworth School, West Yorkshire, where he was a pupil.
This will be followed by a wake in the school sports hall and a private committal at Oldham Crematorium.
The family does not want people to wear dark clothes, while players and coaches have been asked to wear their team colours.
Family flowers only are requested and people can make donations to Saddleworth Rugby Trust in Andrew’s memory.
