Chronicle winners are in the money

Caroline Dean, Tesco community champion (left) and Steve Duthie, the Chronicle’s Newspaper Sales Manager, presented vouchers to four of the winners who will be first to hit the aisles (from the left), Michelle Price, Sarah Unsworth, Val Wynn and Diane Wighton.
TEN lucky Evening Chronicle readers can look forward to going wild in the aisles this week at the Tesco Extra superstore in Huddersfield Road.
For the 10 each bagged a £100 shopping voucher in a readers’ competition.
It means the winners will be able to pick up some real bargains at the company’s biggest North-West supermarket.
The Evening Chronicle teamed up with Tesco Extra store manager Dominic Carey and his staff to run the competition to celebrate the store’s opening two months ago.
All they had to do was answer a simple question and collect two tokens.
And after a spot of frantic shopping, the winners will be able to relax and unwind in the store’s 127-seat cafe.
