School’s sports awards

SPORTING youngsters at New Bridge School met professional sports stars during an awards ceremony.
A total of 70 young people and their parents attended the school’s first ever sports presentation award evening.
Pupils were given awards for sporting excellence and achievement after representing the school in Roman Road, Hollinwood.
Guest speaker was Simon Jackson MBE, Paralympic gold medallist in judo.
Helping with the award presentation was Kyle Hogg, from Lancashire County Cricket Club, Marcus St Hilaire and Phil Joseph, from Oldham Roughyeds.
