CLASSIC . . . Peter Mill with his 1956 Morris Minor series Post Office van
MORE than 30 classic cars, from the beginning of the 20th century through to modern classics, were displayed in High Street, Oldham recently.
Examples ranged from the Mk 1 Cortina to the E-Type Jaguar. There was also an American section which included a classic Cadillac and a 1960s Ford Mustang. There was even an original Royal Mail Morris 1,000 van. Tame Valley Vintage and Classic Car Club chairman Peter Moore, who helped organise the event, said: “The turnout was the best yet and we look forward to an even bigger and better show next year.”
