Boy, 14, is third blaze victim

A 14-year-old boy has become the third member of the same family to die following an horrific house fire in Openshaw.
Jordan Swift (14) died in hospital last night after suffering 90 per cent burns.
His sister, Carly (19) and their younger brother, John (8) also died yesterday.
Their mother, Susan, and stepfather Kevin, managed to escape from the house with six other children.
Police were called to Ashton Old Road after reports of a blaze shortly before 5.20am.
The survivors were taken to the Manchester Royal Infirmary and Tameside Hospital suffering burns and the effects of smoke inhalation.
A joint police and fire service investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
