Crop circle probe

THE man arrested for allegedly firing a shotgun as Norwegian tourists visited a crop circle in Wiltshire is the partner of Councillor Val Sedgwick.
Ken Wilson was Mayor’s consort for Councillor Sedgwick when she was Oldham Mayor in 2003/04.
Mr Wilson (62) was also a Lib-Dem candidate for Failsworth West last year but finished bottom of the poll. He was released on police bail pending further inquiries after the incident on Monday.
