Charity ad signs go missing

CARTAX Radio Cars, Lees, is appealing to anyone who may have seen signs publicising a charity event after they went missing.
The two £300 signs were displayed on the railings by Hamilton Street Post Office last Tuesday, with permission of Oldham Council.
But 24-hours later they went missing. Now manager, Eric Hawes, is appealing to anyone who may have seen them to come forward.
Mr Hawes said: “The signs were advertising the Stax of Soul event in aid of Christie’s Oldham Appeal to be held in September, but we don’t know where they’ve gone.”
Anyone who may have seen someone stealing them is asked to call Mr Hawes on 0161-633 2277.
