TIPPING her hat to her home town — Sarah Lancashire awarded an honorary Doctorate of Letters
FORMER soap star Sarah Lancashire donned her cap and gown this morning to receive an honorary doctorate of letters from University Campus Oldham.
Sarah (44), originally from Garden Suburb, shot to fame as dizzy barmaid Raquel in “Coronation Street”.
She shared the limelight with the borough’s graduates during the degree ceremony at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
