A Royal Oldham Hospital ward has benefited from gifts worth £500.
The hospital’s League of Friends, a voluntary fund-raising organisation, donated a table tennis table to Northside ward in Parklands House.
Other items presented included games consoles and games and two radio/CD players.
Joan Tomlinson, chairman of the League of Friends, said: “This is what we like to donate to wards, something the patient can look forward to.
“I am really pleased to be making this presentation and we hope the provision of the games will help to make the patients stay in hospital more enjoyable.”
If you would like to join the League of Friends contact Chris Mylott, voluntary services manager at the Royal Oldham Hospital, on 0161 627 8561.
