Cabbie cut free

A TAXI-driver was cut out of his vehicle and taken to hospital with spinal injuries following a collision in Westhulme.
it happened at 12.30am today when a car carrying four people was involved in an accident with the taxi close to the Royal Oldham Hospital in Rochdale Road.
Fire-fighters from Chadderton cut the roof off the taxi and took him out on a spinal board. The people in the other car were not badly injured.
