THESE artist’s impressions reveal the look of two new super-health centres which are on the cards for Shaw and Werneth.
The multi-million pound scheme for two state-of-the art buildings in Featherstall Road South, Werneth, and off Westway, Shaw, is currently being considered by Oldham planners.
They are expected to make a decision in early September, and if they give the plans the green flag, building work will start early next year.
If all goes to plan, they will be ready for use by the first patients in spring, 2011.
The developments are part of the borough’s £100 million Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) initiative to replace many of the borough’s ageing health centres.
