Asda cash for road upgrades

Two gateways into Shaw will be improved with the money paid by Asda for the development of the Dawn Mill site.
The junctions of Milnrow Road and Crompton Way, and Rochdale Road and Crompton Way, will be improved with £90,000 including £60,000 from the Asda money.
At Milnrow Road there will be new safety barriers and guard rails, improved visibility for for motorists on Salts Street, and road resurfacing including the Linney Lane and Salts Street junctions.
At the Rochdale Road junction, the guard rails will be replaced. The work will all be undertaken during the school holidays.
