OLDHAM Play Action Group has been encouraging children to use the outdoors more following a visit to Daisy Nook, Tandle Hill Park and Beckets Meadow, Clarksfield.
Steph Gill, co-ordinator, said: “The aim of the visits to were to get children away from computer games.
“They also made shelters which were ideal because it has been raining quite a lot recently!”
