Eight in crash drama

EIGHT people were taken to hospital following an accident on the M60 between Ashton and Oldham on Saturday.
Three vehicles travelling towards Oldham were involved, resulting in two lanes being temporarily closed.
Fire crews from Hollins and Ashton were called to the scene at 1.30pm and were initially told a person was trapped in the car.
On arrival, all eight people were out and police and paramedics were at the scene.
Four people were taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital and four to Tameside General Hospital.
