Pub spirit manifests itself on a mobile phone

A RANDOM photograph revealed an uninvited guest at a haunted Thornham pub.
A customer at the Tandle Hill Tavern, in Thornham Old Road, was testing out the camera on her new mobile phone when she inadvertently snapped a ghostly looking figure.
Landlady Michelle Fenton said: “I have been here for over three years and have heard lots of rumours about the pub being haunted. I don’t really believe in ghosts but when I saw the picture I was shocked.
“It’s quite dark and spooky up here so the location lends itself to ghostly sightings and the locals always enjoy trying to scare you with spooky tales.”
Unfortunately, the picture was not clear enough to reproduce in the Evening Chronicle.
