Judge Frankie Byrne is pictured testing a rag pudding under the watchful eyes of, (from left) contestant Elaine Halliday, landlord Dave Giblin, landlady Debbie Fernandez and judge David Harvey.
REGULARS at a Greenacres pub swopped their pints for puddings as they enjoyed a night with a difference.
Customers at the Dog and Partridge, Constantine Street, were invited to take in a home-made rag pudding to be tested by a panel of guest judges.
Local man Karl Shepherd claimed the top spot after impressing the judges with his meaty and moist pudding.
The event was a fund-raiser for children’s cancer charity Kidscan and raised £500.
