MORE sport for youngsters is on the agenda at the next meeting of the Lees Community Association.
Sports development officer Nitin Solanki, from Oldham Council’s Integrated Youth Services, will give a presentation, outlining the aim to provide activities at venues in Lees and the surrounding area.
The association wants to encourage young members of the community to go along and have their say at the meeting on August 19, at the Lees Library Community Hub, Thomas Street.
Over the next few months Integrated Youth Services will be working with other youth providers in the area, and the association, on the provision of sporting activities.
Details of association activities can be found at www.leesvillage.org
