THE cast of On the Piste at the Coliseum chill out at Rossendale ski slope
STARS of Oldham Coliseum’s new show “On the Piste” took to the slopes at Ski Rossendale in preparation for the fast-paced comedy.
The cast strapped on their skis and hurtled down the dry ski slope to ensure all were prepared for the play which is set in an Austrian ski resort.
Practice makes perfect for the team who have mixed abilities on the skis.
Whatever their level, they will have to show off their new skills every night on a fully functional ski slope which makes up part of the set.
Tickets for the play, which opens September 3, can be booked by calling the Coliseum box office on 0161-624 2829 or by visiting www.coliseum.org.uk
Meanwhile, search is on for all singing, all dancing and all acting young girls to take part in the Coliseum’s Christmas pantomime.
Two teams of eight girls aged between eight and 15 to perform in Mother Goose at the Fairbottom Street theatre.
The chosen girls will work with professional directors, choreographers, actors and crew members to create a showstopping production.
Auditions will take place on September 28 at the theatre. Call 0161-624 1731 to reserve your place.
