Pool proves a splash hit

CROMPTON pool’s summer swimming sessions have attracted a good turn-out.

The Farrow Street pool has been running a series of fun sessions for the whole family to enjoy during the summer break.

Steve Eyre, marketing and promotions manager for Oldham Community Leisure, said: “The sessions have been well attended.

“More and more people are using local pools despite the financial situation.

“The pools are somewhere everyone can get-together in a safe and secure environment.”
