Hulme’s high fives
Date published: 21 August 2009
It’s high fives for these Hulme Grammar School students who have each gained a handful of A-grades at A-level.
The sixth form’s 100 per cent pass rate included 71 per cent at A and B-grades, and 27 out of 99 students who made it three straight As.
Usman Bhatti, Iain Bower, Nick Jones, Emma Washington and Sunayna Verma were all awarded five A- grade passes.
The Hulme principal, Dr Paul Neeson, said: “This standard of academic achievement is testament to the hard work and dedication of the students and their teachers.”
