Clean sweep for Baleron friends

Residents target Eric Street
WHEN residents in Clarksfield got fed up with their dirty, litter strewn streets they simply rolled up their sleeves and did something about it.
Dedicated grot busters in Balfour Street, Eric Street and Ronald Street formed Baleron — an action group encompassing all three street names.
Members are in the process of applying for a grant to tarmac the back alleyway so instigated the community clean-up to show their dedication to sprucing up the area.
Equipped with a wheelbarrow and litter pickers, residents were helped by members of the council’s Street Scene team to transform the alleyway from grim to gleaming.
