A fun day was held in Chadderton Hall Park to encourage people to use the facilities.
The event was organised by the park’s friends group and other attractions included wood-turning, a plate smashing stall, decorating skills and a climbing wall.
Police officers were also on hand to let children and parents know about the summer activities going on in the area.
Police Community Support Officer Sarah Ward said: “This event will hopefully encourage people to use the park and have fun.
“It was an opportunity to come together and use the local facilities, as well as getting to know their local officers.”
