Lane closure on moors M-way
Date published: 01 September 2009
MOTORISTS are being warned to expect lane closures on the M62 while vital work to improve the central reservation and verge safety fence takes place.
The work, which will begin on Thursday and last until December, will see the Highways Agency renew the central reservation between junctions 22 (Rishworth Moor) and 23 and extend the verge safety barrier.
Lanes two and three will be closed while the work is being carried out on the central reservation and lane one will be closed while the verge barrier is improved, with all work taking place between 8pm and 6am to minimise disruption.
There will also be some hard-shoulder closures during the day.
