DOG lovers and their four-legged friends took to the runway during a doggy beauty pageant in aid of the Christie at Oldham appeal.
Pampered pooches and model mutts were on show in seven different classes in Foxdenton Park, Chadderton.
About 200 people and their dogs took part in the show, which raised more than £1,000 on the day.
Mobile dog groomer and show organiser Sarah Ogden was also looking for the perfect pet to play groom to her Chinese crested pet Nancy.
A perfect match was found in Harley, also a Chinese crested breed, who wore top hat and tails to accompany the bride down the aisle.
The overall winner of the show was a Yorkshire Terrier, Daisy, which also won the waggiest tail competition, and walked away with a makeover, as did the winning owner.
And £500 was raised when Graham Crowe, dressed as a Dalmatian, had his 30-year-old moustache shaved off.
Sarah Ogden, who dressed as Cruella De Vil for the day, said: “It was an absolutely fantastic day and we raised lots of money for the charity, with more still to be collected.”
