A CANNABIS farm has been discovered by police at a terrace house in Moorside.
Officers from the Oldham East Neighbourhood Policing Team raided the property in Dickens Street at 6.20am yesterday after a tip-off and discovered 90 plants.
A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and abstracting electricity and is currently being interviewed by officers.
Sgt Cherie Dunn, of the Oldham East Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I want to thank the local community for their assistance in coming forward with information. We would always encourage residents to report any criminal activity to us.”
