TAKE a historical walking tour of Oldham tomorrow and learn about the town’s blue plaques.
As part of the town’s Heritage Open Days, David McGealey, from Oldham Community Radio, has organised the walk which sets off at 12.15pm from the civic centre.
The two-mile tour will take in 12 blue plaques, including the Peterloo plaque at the civic centre and one marking the site of the first fish and chip shop.
Anyone interested in joining the free walk should meet at the Rochdale Road end of the civic centre at noon.
