FOOTBALLERS battled it out in two competitions at Hathershaw College of Technology and Sport.
The sessions were organised by Oldham Council’s Integrated Youth Services to give young people something to do during the summer holidays. Fourteen teams from different parts of Oldham played in the under-11s and under-14s contest.
Winner of the under-11 category was Oldham Bangladeshi Association, while Hathershaw A beat Hathershaw B to win the under-14s competition.
Neil Bennett, sports development officer in West Oldham, said: “Over the summer, we’ve had activities at 25 sites across Oldham, and football was one of them.
