Oldham council staff who have given star service are being sought out for special awards.
The council, its partners at First Choice Homes, Oldham Community Leisure and the Unity Partnership want the public to nominate employees in any of their services to receive a Special Thanks and Recognition (STAR) award.
Councillor Jackie Stanton, deputy council leader and cabinet member for customer services and partnerships said: “These awards are for people who go the extra mile to provide quality services that provide value for our citizens, deliver their best at all times and inspire others to do the same, significantly contributing to the vision of Oldham as a place where people have choices about their services, making a real difference to customers, pupils, staff or the community, acting with integrity, always treating others with respect and keeping their promises.”
Forms are available from Rochdale Road Reception and Access Oldham at the Civic Centre, and all libraries and schools. They can also be downloaded from www.oldham.gov.uk/star-awards
