Second book success
Date published: 14 September 2009
A MARTIAL arts master is continuing his quest to help people find inner peace.
International aikido teacher Wasyl Kolesnikov has released his second book “Transformation: A Spiritual Journey Into Yourself”.
The 59-year-old has run the Kolesnikov School of Mind and Body Development in Werneth since 1982 and also teaches tai-chi.
The former psychiatric nurse said: “I enjoyed it very much but what I noticed was quite a lot of people used to return after treatment. At the same time I was also doing mind and body work like aikido and yoga. I found it very beneficial and there were no side-effects in what I did.”
Wasyl has again teamed up with Guy Gardner with whom he released his first book “Return to the Source” last year.
“Transformation” combines simple words written by Guy with pictures taken by Wasyl from as far afield as New Zealand. They cover a range of ideas from health to love and are used for meditation.
“Things which look impossible are possible — that’s what I teach. It opens people’s minds to other things,” added Wasyl.
The book is available to order from Amazon from £21.
