AN Oldham store employee has raised £200 for a children’s charity by pedalling part of an 800-mile relay.
Andy Sandiford, who works at Cash Generator, completed a 24-mile cycle from the store in Yorkshire Street to the Bury store and back in under one hour and 40 minutes.
The keen cyclist took part in the northern leg of Tour de Cash Generator, a relay-style challenge connecting stores across the UK with the aim of raising more than £100,000 for national children’s charity Make A Wish.
