The moor views the merrier...

RESIDENTS in Shaw and Crompton will have their say on Crompton Moor tomorrow as part of a council consultation.
Regular visitors to the moor have already given their views as to what services they would like to see and how the area could be improved at on-site consultations.
By taking part in surveys in Shaw town centre, occasional visitors and people who may not even know about what lies on their doorstep are being given the chance to have their say.
Councillor Rod Blyth, cabinet member for people and communities said: “Staff will be out and about in Shaw town centre to find out how many people are aware of Crompton Moor, how often they visit, what they do there and how they would like to see it improve and change.
“Crompton Moor is a very important piece of green space which is easily accessible to many thousands of local people.
“The council is committed to making Crompton Moor a popular venue for all and it is important that people tell us what they think.”
