Focus on the attractions of Saddleworth

PROMOTING tourism in Saddleworth is the subject of the Saddleworth Business Association meeting on Thursday.

Guest speaker will be Rachel Heaton, of Visit Manchester, and the main focus of the meeting will be on promoting Saddleworth, its events and festivals.

June Smith, economic and business liaison officer at Oldham Council, will also give an update on the support initiatives which have been introduced to help businesses during the recession.

The meeting is free of charge and open to non-members, and will start at 7.30pm at The White Hart, Lydgate.

Tea and coffee will be served from 7.15pm.
