Morrisons raid: man charged
Date published: 21 September 2009
A man has been charged with conspiracy to rob after a raid on the Morrisons store in Failsworth in June.
Dale Hall (24), of Booth Hall Road, Blackley, appeared at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Friday, charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
The charge follows an attempted robbery at the Poplar Street store, on June 29, when three men, armed with a sledgehammer, claw hammer and a sword, tried to break down the door to the cash office.
Four other men have already been charged in connection with the robbery and are due to appear at Manchester Crown Court, Crown Square, on September 28.
