Junaid murder: second man is charged

A second man has been charged by detectives investigating the murder of Junaid Khan at the Block Lane surgery in Chadderton.
Anton Grant, (21), of Enfield Avenue, Hathershaw, will appear at Oldham Magistrates Court on September 29 charged with possessing prohibited ammunition. In August, another 21-year-old man, Milad Finn, of Lauriston Close, Gatley, faced the same charge and is also remanded in custody.
A 26-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of possessing ammunition and money laundering is on bailed until October 8, pending inquiries.
In July, Junaid, also 21, of Cotton Mill Crescent, Werneth, was shot from behind in the legs and groin a number of times.
He was then shot again at close range with an automatic weapon.
