AND they’re off! The runners including Oldham Athletic’s Chaddy the Owl sprint from the starting line
CHADDY the Owl tied up his trainers and made a flying visit to Alexandra Park on Sunday to take part in a family fun run.
Runners, joggers and walkers, some in fancy dress, took part in the annual event hosted by Community 1st Oldham and national sports development charity StreetGames.
The Run 4 Fun event was open to all ages and abilities and saw participants follow an 800m course around the park after completing a warm up.
Those completing the charity challenge received a medal and certificate. The event was organised to encourage participation in sport and raise awareness of healthy living.
