A MAN is in hospital after being stabbed in the back in Royton.
Police were called to the junction of Broadway with Oldham Road at 5.15pm yesterday following reports of a knife attack.
Officers discovered a 25-year-old man with a stab wound to his back.
He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening and he remains there in a stable condition.
Officers cordoned off Rochdale Road causing rush-hour chaos.
Oldham police say inquiries are ongoing.
