A teenage girl was sexually assaulted in a taxi after being driven through parts of Oldham.
The 17-year-old victim got into a blue Vauxhall Astra taxi on Averill Street, Newton Heath, at about 3am on Sunday 27 September.
She was driven to Failsworth, Daisy Nook, Hollinwood and then back to the Robin Hood pub in Newton Heath.
It was during the journey that the driver sexually assaulted the girl.
After dropping her off, two women and another taxi-driver came to her aid outside the Robin Hood on Droylsden Road.
Police are anxious to contact the three helpers and also want to hear from anyone else who has information about the incident.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and sexual assault. He has been bailed until 14 October.
Anyone with information should call Grey Mare Lane CID on 0161-856 3240 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555 111.
