Hay fall farmer flown to hospital

North West Air Amulance used in moving patient from incident at Platting Farm Platting Road , Scouthead.
A 61-YEAR-OLD man suffered chest and hip injuries when he fell 12ft from a bale of hay at a Lydgate farm yesterday.
An ambulance was called to Platting Farm in Platting Road at 2pm before an air ambulance was drafted in to take the victim to North Manchester General Hospital.
Oldham Mountain Rescue Team assisted paramedics and the man stayed conscious throughout the ordeal.
