THE new president of Oldham Photographic Society presided over his first meeting this month.
Brian Dennett (73), from Ashton, is society president for the 2009-10 season.
A former lecturer in management at Tameside College, he now divides his time between working as a freelance management consultant and following his passion for photography.
The keen photographer joined his first camera club in 1975 when film and processing in the darkroom were the norm.
Wildlife photography is his speciality and he has won many club awards, including best image and best digital image worker during last season.
The club meets every Thursday at 7.15pm in the upstairs room at the Blue Club, Victoria Street, Chadderton.
New members are welcome.
