Peter Penguin leads parents and children on to the ice at St Mary's School, High Crompton
IT may still be autumn, but the thrills and spills of outdoor ice skating came to two Oldham schools at the weekend.
The artificial ice rink was first set up at St Mary’s School, High Crompton, on Saturday, where a giant penguin called Peter and some artificial snow also appeared.
And on Sunday, skaters tried their blades out at St Anne’s School, Broadway, Royton, where parents and children joined in the fun.
