Stab victim named

POLICE have named the man who died after he was stabbed in Hollinwood as James Cromwell (29), of Kelverlow Street, Oldham.
Mr Cromwell died in hospital last Tuesday. Police were called to Incline Road, Hollinwood, following reports of a stabbing, where they found the injured man shortly after 7.30pm on Saturday, October 17.
He was taken to hospital where he underwent emergency surgery, but died three days later.
Michael Hornung (26) of Barmouth Walk, Oldham, was charged following the incident, and was remanded in custody to appear in court on January 5, 2010.
