Ethel dies, aged 104

A FAILSWORTH centenarian has died at the age of 104.
Ethel Long died peacefully at Brierfields Residential Care Home, Brierley Avenue.
Originally from Newton Heath, Mrs Long moved to Failsworth after marrying her late husband Joseph.
The much-loved aunt and great-aunt was a keen modern sequence dancer and attended exercise classes at Oldham Sports Centre.
The funeral service and committal will take place at Hollinwood Crematorium on Monday at 11am.
