£4.5m centre is approved

FITTON Hill’s new £4.5 million neighbourhood centre is a step closer after proposals were approved.
The centre in Fircroft Road is part of a masterplan to create new homes, businesses, shops, sport and community facilities. It is set to open from 6am to 9pm, including Sundays and bank holidays, with the youth centre generally opening until 9pm, 10pm on Fridays. Plans have also been approved for a temporary medical centre at Hawthorne Road, Hollinwood.
