Seaside trip for children

DAY trippers . . . parents and children get ready to set off to Blackpool, with Caitlan Sellars (5), front, leading the way
EXCITED children set off to the seaside thanks to help from a local charity.
For some it was their first trip to Blackpool, where they saw the famous illuminations.
Key To The Door, a charity working predominantly with young parents aged 13 to 19 years-old that offers the Training Opportunities for Young Parents Scheme (TOYS), helped organise the trip from Oldham.
It operates a drop-in facility once a week from Primrose Bank Community Centre.
The day out was planned and organised by a subgroup of the drop-in membership, which recognised the need for the parents and children to enjoy a day out together.
