Latics put their shirt on fans of the future

Children receive Latics shirts at the game on Sunday.
Youngsters from Crompton and Buckstones schools in Shaw were the first to receive the free shirts in a scheme to attract more families to Boundary Park.
The 25 pupils were the first of 500 seven-year-olds from across the borough who will be presented with shirts at home league games this season. They were led to the pitch at half-time, presented with their shirts, and led back to their seats by Latics mascot, Chaddy the Owl.
The game ended in a disappointing 1-0 defeat for the home side.
