VOLUNTEERS got stuck into selfless tasks across Oldham as part of Make a Difference Week.
Young people aged 16 to 25 and part of the vinvolved national youth volunteering project joined in a series of mini-volunteering events.
Working with several local charities, the volunteers carried out conservation work at Daisy Nook Country Park, helped Chadderton residents create flower baskets, and joined up with Age Concern to teach older people how to text.
Make a Difference Week was set up by volunteering charity CSV with the aim of spreading a wave of kindness throughout the country.
