CHADDERTON Band is hitting all the right notes in the style stakes thanks to a £500 windfall.
Members are looking red hot after Councillors Jack Hulme and Len Quinn bought them new waistcoats. The money was donated from their individual budgets, which every Oldham councillor receives to spend on local good causes. Band president, Councillor Philip Rogers, said: “They make the band look very smart and incorporate our logo which advertises who we are and will put Chadderton on the map.”
