Gardeners cultivate success

AS Oldham celebrates winning Best Town Centre in the North-West in Bloom competition, gardeners across the borough were rewarded for their own green-fingered efforts.
First Choice Homes runs an annual allotments and gardening competition to reward homeowners who go the extra mile with their flowers, plants and vegetable patches.
There are number of categories in the contest, including best FCHO garden, best private garden and best allotment.
