Bobbies get new bike to help cut crime

Chadderton neighbourhood policing team has another set of wheels thanks to a local business.
First Security, a security services company, has donated a new bike to the team. This is the second bike provided by the members the Chadderton Central Business Watch.
Mark Heyes from First Security said: “As members of the local Business Watch we have built a good relationship with the neighbourhood policing team. This is our way of thanking the officers for all the hard work they do.”
PCSO Christine Gee said: “I thank First Security and other local businesses for their support and for making the Business Watch scheme a success. This new bike will enable us to patrol communities more easily and quickly.”
